This episode is built from the stories of individual patients — from a girl with a small curve, where the question was whether to use a brace at all, to cases where surgery was already on the table.

One warning comes back through it: a small curve that goes to school with a child has a high chance of progressing. That is exactly why school-age children are monitored more often than adults.
